Dear Parents,

It is time!……we are all so excited with 1 week to go to our performances of Shall We Dance? Thank you to all children (and parent helpers!) for their hard work during dress rehearsal and over the last few months.

Below you will find all the information you need regarding the performance day, if you have any additional questions, please feel free to email myself and the team at info@nicolafarcasballet.ieor via the WhatsApp groups and we can help with any queries. We will update both our facebook page & website regularly with ongoing information.

See you all on the day! Many Thanks

EVENT INFORMATION

PERFORMANCE
The performance will be held on Monday June 4thin the Helix Theatre, DCU. Shows are at 3pm & 8pm sharp and I would like to remind parents that no late arrivals will be admitted into the auditorium until the interval. All photography or video- recording is strictly prohibited during the performance.

As with any show a technical rehearsal will be run on the day, on site, in the theatre. Please note the timing of arrival will differ by class group. Details are outlined on the back.

FOOD, DRINK & PERSONAL POSSESIONS
Please give your child sensible snacks for the day, sufficient for the duration of their time in the theatre. Please avoid yogurts / chocolate, anything that could stain and the preferred drink option is water. PLEASE NOTE that any phones, or other devices and personal belongings / valuables are at owners risk and neither The Nicola Farcas School of Ballet or Helix Theatre is responsible for any loss or damage that occurs to these items.

TICKETS & DVD REMINDER

Tickets are on sale through www.helix.ie.  Tickets are priced at €16 per ticket. Tickets remain available for both performances; please ensure you have tickets for everyone who would like to attend. DVD’s can be pre-ordered at your daughters next class for €12 before the show day or can be ordered on show day at the Helix.

ARRIVAL INFORMATION
All our younger students should arrive wearing the costume provided to take home during today’s dress rehearsal, everyone else should wear normal class wear. All students must have clean tightsand either new or very clean shoes. Hair must be tied into a neat bun. Please refrain from using ‘donuts’, a proper bun done with hair net and pins is preferred.  Bun should sit in the middle of the back of the head, not too high. No jewellery. NO FAKE TAN.

Please ensure the children have eaten properly in advance arrival so only a light snack and drink is required. For younger children, simple activities like colouring with pencils/books etc can be brought, as it can be a long day. All our students will be well looked after backstage by our kind and experienced helpers.

Students should be brought to the STAGE DOOR( around the back of the building) of the Helix Theatre for drop off. There is a lot to achieve on the day and especially during the tech rehearsals so it is VERY IMPORTANT THAT STUDENTS ARE DROPPED OFF ON TIME, we really appreciate your support. Class Helpers, please note, you must attend for both your own class group and for those you are helping with. Thank you
