Dress Rehearsal Information

Dear Parents,

The countdown is well underway toward our show on Monday 4thJune 2018

With our preparations almost complete the focus is on rehearsals. It is important that every child turns up for all their classes to ensure they can participate in rehearsals during their scheduled class time. In addition to this we will be holding a full Dress Rehearsal on Sunday 27thMay. Attendance is mandatory for all those participating. Below are the details regarding the location and timings on the 27thMay. There is nominal €5 charge on the day, which should be paid at drop off.

EVENT INFORMATION

Dress Rehearsal

The dress rehearsal will be held on the Sunday prior to the show on May 27th. It will be held in Swords in the Applewood Community Centre. Chosen as a middle ground between both our Santry & Balbriggan Schools.

All students must have a neat and tidy appearance for rehearsal. Students in Group 1 & Group 2 below, Please come ready in costume. Costume will be provided at the last class before the dress rehearsal.Wearing a tracksuit top over costume for example or something comfortable to wait around in is advisable.

To help manage the dress rehearsal we have decided to split it into three groups. Please identify your relevant group below and attend accordingly.

Group 1 – Baby ballet classes from both Santry & Balbriggan

** Note – This includes all ‘helpers’ who will appear on stage with these groups.

Santry: Saturday 9.00am, 9.35am & Monday 4.30pm classes

Balbriggan: Wednesday 3.30pm class 

All students will need to arrive at 10.30amand rehearsal will be completed by 11.40am. Prompt drop off and collection is essential.  

 

 

Group 2 –  Pre-primary & Primary classes from both Santry & Balbriggan

** Note – This includes all ‘helpers’ who will appear on stage with these groups.

Santry:  Saturday 10.10am & 11am classes

Balbriggan: Wednesday 4pm & 4.55pm classes (Shauna’s classes)

All students will need to arrive at 11.30amand rehearsal will be completed by 12.40pm. Prompt drop off and collection is essential.  

Group 3 – All other classes not in Group 1 & Group 2

All students will need to arrive at 12.10pm and rehearsal will be completed by 5.30pm. Prompt drop off and collection is essential.  

Students attending this longer rehearsal time should bring a lunch and plenty of water. No chocolate/yoghurts or staining drinks allowed to protect the costumes. Please give your child sensible snacks both at dress rehearsal and performance. Younger children may need colouring books (no markers) or books to read as it can be a long day. Please for Child Protection reasons, no phones, Ipads, tablets…etc are permitted as all of these devices have cameras ( which we all know children love to use !!) 

Show Tickets & DVD

Tickets remain on sale through www.helix.ieor at the Helix Box Office.  Tickets are priced at €16 each. Thank you so much to all the families and friends, who have bought tickets, your fantastic support, is appreciated as always. Tickets continue to be sold on an unrestricted basis. (so you can buy as many as you want J!!) With the speed of ticket sales exceeding expectations I recommend you purchase yours soon. 

There will be a lovely DVD of the show please pre- order your DVD of the show from Judy or Karen at your next class. They are 12 euro each.
